My Duke play was fully based on my belief in Riley Leonard at QB. Keep in mind Duke was winning outright with Riley in, once hobbled and out the Blue Devils faltered outside the 14.5 number. Such is life.
As for my Army 1st half pick, on the precipice of WW3, embarrassing our service academies is a bad look. That is on B Kelly and LSU, not my pick.
I am also currently preoccupied with my late Sept. , +4000 pick of the Dbacks to win the World Series. Cut me some slack bro.,

Florida +14 vs Georgia.... If you can find the hook great. Georgia has been flat all season and their best player is now out. I like the Gators to cover this big number on a neutral field.
New Mexico even at Nevada... What the hell. I know the Lobos aren't very good, but the boys up in Reno are just God awful. They won their first of the year last week 6-0 over San Diego State which is pretty hilarious. Surely New Mexico can manage a win here somehow.

Here are some interesting stats for you to consider. Michigan and Jim Harbaugh’s record against the spread before the sign stealing operation started was 32-38-1. Since then it is a mid blowing 22-11-1 For some comparison the top five ranked teams during that same period went 84-82-2 against the spread. Vegas doesn’t miss like that unless something is up.
In related news, The Washington Post reported that one factor into the FBI Michigan investigation were these fishy results which you better believe were noticed by casinos and sharps all over the country. The Feds were aware of the scam before the 2023 season but wanted some time to establish the money trail. Shady UM dude was buying tickets in his own name, so it wasn’t like this was some super tight Heat style operation. You better believe word was getting out to take the Wolverines to cover and people were cashing. The house hates to lose like this. If Harbaugh was pulling this shit at the blackjack table they would drag him into the back room and break his hand with a hammer. Staying away from CFB this week.

NCAAF - I was on the road last week and I couldn’t place bets in Texas, but I tell ya I’d’ve taken Michigan minus the points over Michigan State in a heartbeat and cleaned up. I know everyone’s pointing fingers at the soaring Wolverines about signal stealing, and there’s probably something there, maybe they’re getting singled out for doing something everyone does but just aren’t under the same microscope, I don’t know. But Michigan has a bye this week, and I think your Buckeyes will easily cover against the Badgers. My pick, however is Nebraska -2.5 against Purdue, parlayed with the over at +240.
NFL – The Lions -8.5 in Las Vegas concerns me, so that’ll be a Monday Night impulse bet. Was last week a fluke or was there a vulnerability exposed? As a life-long fan of the Honolulu Blue and Silver, I’ll sit back and wait to see. This week I’m taking the Eagles -6.5 on the road against Washington with the over at +240. The Eagles are as good as it gets in the league right now and that’s a solid bet on paper.
