New Song & Video! Television City "Lost in Arkansas"

Detroit’s TELEVISION CITY has released their first new music since their 2018 self-titled debut full-length. The song is called “Lost in Arkansas” and is available for listening on all streaming platforms now!

Television City is the brainchild and primary musical outlet for ex-Porchsleeper and Fidrych front-man Brian Raleigh. Brian is a damn fine songwriter, and his record collection ain’t bad either. He knows how to craft some tasty rock & roll with a discerning effort towards not overdoing it. David Feeny (pedal steel - Blanche, Loretta Lynn’s Black Lear Rose album) and Garret Bielaniec (one of Detroit’s most smokin’est guitarists, work with Alice Cooper and The Rockets) are the other mainstays, with a rotating rhythm section, each a legend in the Detroit scene, rounding out the lineup.

Porchsleeper were an Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti/Detroit fixture for the better part of the `00s and `10s, and Fidrych was a 2-year jam with ex-`sleepers and ex OffRamps/future Tucos. After you’ve purchased the TeeVee City catalog (start with the full-length!), check out Porchsleeper! Pencil Storm readers and fans of Watershed and Joe’s book Hitless Wonder might get a kick out of this number, referencing some graffiti also mentioned in chapter one of that book (and guest lead guitar work by me!):

Television City celebrates the release of “Lost in Arkansas” at the Ghost Light in Hamtramck, Michigan on September 28th!
